Before using software, you must understand the rules of visual storytelling. This course begins with core editing principles that dictate how shots are assembled to create meaning.

You will study cinematic language, continuity grammar, and the psychological impact of pacing. These fundamentals ensure your edits look intentional and rhythmically balanced, whether you are cutting a fast-paced YouTube video or a narrative documentary.

The curriculum covers the primary software tools used in professional video post-production workflows.

In Adobe Premiere Pro, the focus is on timeline sequencing, proxy configurations for heavy footage, and multi-camera synchronizations. For colour correction and grading, you will use DaVinci Resolve to work with waveform vectorscopes and primary color wheels. Finally, Adobe After Effects is taught for motion graphics, including camera tracking, rotoscoping, and kinetic typography.

A professional edit relies heavily on sound design and proper delivery standards.

You will learn audio engineering basics, including acoustic design, EQ balancing, noise cancellations, and environmental panning. Additionally, the course covers export compression and codecs, ensuring you know how to optimize H.264 and HEVC export parameters for various platforms.

Building a portfolio is a requirement of this course. You will complete practical assignments designed to simulate realistic client briefs.

These projects involve editing raw footage into cohesive short-form reels, YouTube narratives, and commercial sequences. By the end of the course, these assignments are compiled into a digital portfolio to demonstrate your applied skills to future clients or employers.

This is a comprehensive 5-month program. The current course fee is ₹70,000, which covers all live sessions, instruction, and project feedback.

Upon completing the program and submitting your required portfolio projects, you will receive a course completion certificate from Dadhich Art Academy.

To participate, you will need a reliable internet connection and a laptop or desktop computer running Windows or macOS.

Video editing is resource-intensive. We recommend a system with at least 16GB of RAM, an SSD for media storage, and a dedicated graphics card (NVIDIA or AMD) to run Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and After Effects smoothly. You will also need access to these software applications to complete your assignments.
